And this is why the Dodgers will be swept…
And the rout is on, Perez is chased in the third. 6-0 cards. There is no way Jeff Weaver wins game two in a must win situation. The Dodgers only chance was to win game one and with no pressure, the good Jeff Weaver may show up. He'll be lucky to make it past the third himself.
As a Yankees fan, I can assure you that Jeff Weaver will implode tomorrow. I've seen it too many times before. Too bad - he looked like he had so much potential in Detroit, and now he's just Kenny Rogers all over again.

what are you talking about, have never heard that, I read rumors that he cheated on his wife in california, but never that he hit her

hope this is not just more bitterness from a cubs and A's fan

Anyone but Joe Morgan…
He has begun his tirade on how the Dodgers handled the Milton Bradley the correct way and how Anaheim handled the Guillen situation the wrong way, with Tracy showing support for Bradley and helping him get through it. What Scioscia did won't help Guillen.

Three points: (1) Bradley admitted he has a problem and is seeking help, Guillen has not. (2) Bradley apologized for letting his team down. Guillen has not. (3) Bradley's anger has been directed at everybody BUT teammates and the coaches in Los Angeles (fans, umpires, and the media sure), all of Guillen's anger has been directed at the coaches and the pitching staff.

Joe Morgan, you're wrong. Again.

i suppose it's a rumour that's been around for while.. back in the angels day. no, it's not the a's fan that's bitter, it's the baseball fan that thinks edmonds is a big time jerk that cares only about himself.
At 7-0, the St. Louis crowd has broken out the "Beat LA" chant…..

Typical. I bet that in about 5 minutes he'll go into his trademarked ten minute oratory on Barry Bonds. That, or the Big Red Machine… The only thing worse than listening to Morgan call a game is reading his "columns" on ESPN.com
What is Guillens' problem?

It was talked about when the trade went down, but I'm not sure it was ever public. His cheating, abusive behavior and general lack of interest in the Angels club house were all reasons given for the trade.

No respect for authority, general lack of maturity, and an inablilty to understand team rules have led to his downfall.

The Pirates probably brought him up too early (at age 19) and he's never lived up to expectations. And despite his wonderful numbers this season, he's probably never been personally satisfied with his peformance either.
A rare miss by Rolen led to the Dodgers run. He's definitely still hurt because I've seen Rolen make that play 100 times.
here come the dodgers

This game's over. I'm going to get lunch with Samckette, so all of you Sox fans get your smack on (or get your ass out of the office and in front of a TV). The Halo's aren't afraid of you.
man, what a wasted use of robin ventura. surely the dodgers had someone else they could have used in that situation.

Hee Sop Choi?

Even though I'm a Yankee fan, Larry Walker has been my favorite player the last nine years…..Even though he's from Canada.

he he. .hee seop choi. sure, use him. . i just don't agree with using ventura in the 6th inning to scratch out one run, especially with 2 outs. but that could just be me.

No, you're right. I just like to say Hee Sop Choi.

If the Dodgers load the bases, they'll regret not having the Grand Slam specialist available.
