I now live in SF, however I was born and raised in Anaheim until I moved to DC for grad school. I was in attendance for all three AL West Division Clinching games (79, 86, 04), the infamous Hendu game that I'm looking forward to reliving all week, and 4 of the seven World Series games.
If I was rooting for the A's last year, it was because I was rooting for the west, though I don't recall. In 2002 however, I littered this board with Halo's propaganda all playoffs long.

I didn't until Game 6 of the 2002 World Series, at which point I found utmost respect for the little guy.

Nobody in So Cal is at work today, and since I'm from So Cal, I took the day off too.
Therefore, for those of you that are unfortunately at work today, I will be posting my thoughts and comments on the board here. So when you're watching it on GameDay and it says "Shawn Green grounds out slowly to Scott Rolen," I'll let you know that Rolen charged the ball, barehanded it, and threw Green out in one fluid motion, clearly the best defensive 3rd baseman in the league…..that's the kind of guy I am.
