Bands that SHOULD reunite? Maybe?

Jesus Lizard too. Or, make me real happy and have a Scratch Acid reunion.

You know Scratch Acid did a few one off shows last year right?
As far as a couple of the members, David Yow is in a band called Qui (playing Iota in October) and Duane is in a band called USSA with Paul Barker.
I had missed that. Have you heard Qui yet? I've got their album scratched down on my little post-it note of albums to buy, but I haven't heard anything from it yet.

Morrissey is bad for your soul.
Only if by bad, you mean ESSENTIAL…. :p
Off the top of my head of bands I would actually go see:

Black Flag (with Keith, Dez and Rollins sharing vocals)
Cop Shoot Cop
Minor Threat
Jesus Lizard - the Scratch Acid show I saw in Chicago reminded me of how great Yow is as a singer
Rocket from the Crypt/The Sultans/Hot Snakes - basically, get Speedo/Reese on stage again
Murder City Devils
Traveling Willburys
16 Horsepower
Sugar

I read aboput the SA one-offs, but didn't have the chance to see them.

Love the name of Duane's new band. I remember buying the BH's Locust Abortion Technician and SA's Just Keep Eating and Berserker at around the same time in 86 or 87, and both of those bands blew my small-town-in-Oregon mind.

BOING! I'd been looking for a reason to go to Austin, and… I'd say this it! Angry Samoans! The Sword! Poison Idea! Battles! And many more!

i was thinking about this thread last night and actually, they came on my ipod and i said "yes, i would LOOOOVE an At the Drive In reunion"

it would please me so.
Seconded. I had tickets to their last area show at the Black Cat but wound up not being able to make it. Wasn't a big deal at the time since I figured they'd be back :(

I couldn't agree more with TheDirector217 regarding Lucious Jackson. Fever In, Fever Out is a big favorite of mine as well. Luscious Jackson in November 1996 was the very first show I ever saw at the 9:30 Club. Saw them a couple times, and they always put on a good, fun show.

Put me down for Elastica and first-album Veruca Salt, too.

And, as long as we're getting nostalgic for '90s female-fronted bands, I'd like to nominate Belly. Star is one of my all-time favorite albums, and King wasn't bad either. Tanya Donnelly has put out a bunch of solo albums, but none of them rock like Belly.
