I can say this.

If Bill Gates had done this many demos, we'd have seen the blue screen of death at least twice by now.

You'd think if there was new hardware, he'd have led with that and showed the new software on the new hardware. There are a few intel guys here.

6 months ahead of schedule. You can buy one today. The dorks are going nuts!

The board gods are blocking me (too many posts).

3 times faster than todays G5. Dual core chip (not sure what that means but the dorks all gasped).

Looks liek the iMac, not the G5.

You can trade in your old discs too. That's very nice of them.

MS guy got booed. I was the only guy who cheered for Meesenger for Mac. I think MS Handhelds will Sync with Mac office too if I heard thr guy correctly.

There was a chuckle when Apple and Intel were ready ahead of schedule and MS needs until March to be ready.

so does this mean if you buy one of these, you will have to wait until crap like Photoshop Universal or Dreamweaver Universal come out before you can actually be productive on one

They just demoed photoshop, but yes.

New mac ad hits hard on the PCs. They still lead the world in advertising.

It does not seem clear….

Will old simple apps not run at all?

It looks like all the major apps have a universal version ready to go.

March for most Mac apps that don't come with the iMac.

Others have a varying timeframe.

Damn flood control….

New Intel laptop too. No more G4, g5 sucked too much power top make realistic.

$2000-$2500 - ships in Febraury.
