well, first of all, the USA had a terrible hockey team that played about to what they were capable of. Canada just played crappy, and got just as bad a draw with Russia.

i still dont know about that lightning fast whistle on that would be tying goal late in the 3rd.

and besides, canada has won 1 gold medal in 50 years in hockey…no one i know in Canada thinks we cant be beat. but i suppose american media makes us look that way.

very very disappointing, i was really rooting for USA to beat everyone but Canada, it is my home now!

Canada was scared of Russia the whole game, it never looked good from minute one.

its looking good for Finland and Russia should be a doozy.

I didn't know we were that bad until the tie with Latvia, then I pretty much knew it was over.

I believe it's in two weeks. The Dominican Republic and Venezuala actually look like the two best teams on paper right now. As for Curling, I really thought the US men was gonna squeek one out against Canada a few days ago. But then Canada pulled away at the end. I guess now we just have Sasha too look forward to :cool:

for some reason i am stronly opposed to Sweden winning the gold.

I wish Finland would get the gold for a change…they are really rather rabid about hockey up in that frozen woodland. And they have well-established rivalries with both the Swedes and the Ruskies…both hated neighbors.

Great Britian watched as the US won the bronze. Not bad for a bunch of losers ;)
