NHL Playoffs Thread...

Sorry to create yet another hockey thread, but I'm quite certain I won't be able to stomach all the Caps talk in the other threads, especially if they meet the Pens in the next round. I'm happy they made it, good for them. Just not as happy as others.

Therefore, I'm creating a non-Caps Hockey Playoffs Thread. So, for those that wish to discuss their favorite non DC Area teams or make predictions, this is the place.

WEST

I don't like the prospect of the Ducks having to go through the Stars, the Red Wings and then the Sharks just to make it to the Stanley Cup final. I see some sleepless nights in my future.

in canuckia, every first-round game featuring a canadian team will be aired by the CBC - public broadcasting, free to all, cable not required. i think that's pretty cool… for the canuckians.

Without a proper revenue generating TV deal, it's a wonder the Canuckia teams are so hurting for revenue. ;)

Montreal over Boston is the only series I'd even consider it in. Certainly none in the West.

i see the wings winning their series 5,6,and 6 and then sweeping the finals, but i'm rather biased.

i see the caps/flyers going seven, and hope the caps can do it. should be a great series. winner will likely play the pens…

just game 1, but i liked what i saw. too many penalties, but the sens had 0 punch on offense. yay playoff hockey
