Intersting side bar for the album owners back in the day: How many of these tracks we're actually consecutive before CD's?

ryan adams - "heartbreaker", #s 2-5
"to be young"
"my winding wheel"
"amy"
"oh my sweet carolina"
it would be better without "amy", but i could definitely listen to those on a loop for a long time

oh, and for REM, i'd take tracks 3-5 from "reckoning":
"So. Central Rain (I'm Sorry)"
"Pretty Persuasion"
"Time After Time (Annelise)"
although that whole first side (1-5) is pretty much perfect (hard to leave "harborcoat" and "7 chinese brothers" out)

Speaking of Pavement
opening of Wowee Zowee:
1. We Dance
2. Rattled by the Rush
3. Black Out
Why wasn't this album more popular?

i think that wowee zowee is just so disjointed, there's no sense that it's going anywhere. that being said, father to a sister of thought is one of my favorite pavement songs.
however, when a song from wowee zowee comes up on my ipod, i don't skip it. individually, i like the songs, as an album. . .ehhh. sort of also how i feel about rem's "green."
