Here's something for you, mostly along the Electronica/Shoegaze paths. Not sure what the correct primary genre would be and I don't really care. Some is more one while others more the other. Hutch alert: They are Brazilian!

Starfire Connective Sound

The Sound Also Rises (EP)
(Pretty meaty for an EP.)

solid ep/album.  love me some electronic + shoegaze mixup.  anything else you'd recommend?
^ The more I hear this, and a few others from Starfire Connective Sound, the more I'm really liking them.

For some dumb reason, I didn't realize until today that an acquaintance of mine is the main band member in this band. He's a very active participant in my network of music friends, and the person I got the lead from, but it just went over my head that it was his band. He's great at talking up good music and I never really saw him stating it was his band.

He just posted a new single on Bandcamp called Where Go The Boats.

Make sure you download their earlier EP, Starfire Connective Sound which I really like a whole lot.

All free, and legal, courtesy of the band.

Here's a really nice article on them too, if you don't mind reading in Portuguese.
Sweetcell.  Here are a few I dig, and I apologize if you already know them.
Screen Vinyl Image, Keith Canisius, Ulrich Schnauss, SPC ECO, Electro Group, Safeashome, Bloody Knives…

I would also suggest checking out some Witch House groups.  They usually hav a nice mix of warm fuzz/noise along with cold synths. Anything by the label Phantasma Disques is usually good, Salem, oOoOO, Mascara, //TENSE// , Story of Isaac aka CRIM3S, Creep, High Park, Black Ceiling (or BLVCK Ceiling or one of the other ways his name gets written), Special Darkness (used to be known as Audrey Horne), Pwin Teaks and the Children of New H, releases on Disaro label, releases on Tri Angle (esp Evian Christ, that man rocks!), White Ring, Purity Ring…

I would suggest http://www.witch-house.com/forum/index.php as a good source.  BUT, watch out for the bandwagon jumpers, lots of people making crap too, so you gotta wade through it, but definitely worth it.
for fans of ninja tunes, bonobo, etc:

Soundtrack to the movie "Re:generation": http://regenerationmusicproject.com/music/
Re:generation is a film about electronic music producers collaborating with influential artists. The film premiered at the Grammys and screened extensively SXSW 2012.
We Are Serenades: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1499778/Birds.mp3
(nice feature that hasn't been mentioned from BC's newsletters…would be cool for the club to do this too - get ppl to listen to bands on show and free tunes while they are at it)

Hello Dear FRIENDS.

It has been some time since we communicated using e—–mail…we hope you are living well.

You might be unaware, but recently we snail mailed 200 random people on our mailing list a compact disc of our new song "Henrietta."  We wanted you, the people who have supported us, the chance to hear and spread the new song first before the press got the track.  In other words, we wanted to give you "firsties."  Though it's seeped it's way through the internet, we wanted to make sure you had a link to get a high quality version of "Henrietta:"

HENRIETTA:  http://yeasayer.net/henrietta-fans.html

Called a "soft launch" in the industry, the release of "Henrietta" initializes the beginning of Phase 3, as in full length #3.  We are about to make an announcement tomorrow morning (NYC time) through the major press receptors who will relay the information to the masses.  Please be ready for this offering and spread the information.  Your support has built this ship!

More news soon on various amazing things as we rev up the engines.

As always, much love.

x.  Yeasayer.
