anyways here is one of my favorite albums… I used to own the original rough trade but somebody stole it from me or something happened…. so I finally caved and bought the kill rock stars reissue.. the only nice thing about this horrible thing is that the reissue adds their first single which is one of their best tracks (fairytale in the supermarket)…I tend to really dislike reissues…I will wait years hoping to find the original before I buy a reissue..but sometimes you have to cave….. if I had a top 100 albums (no compilations allowed) I think this would be on it.. I keep returning to it year after year and finding stuff I love.. Do I feel bad that I missed them at Comet? yeah.. but it was raining cats and dogs and I had just gotten out of a wake so I went home…

this was an impulse buy.. the relatively new Iron Maiden album Book of Souls.. the LP is a pretty crazy package/..trifold.. three heavyweight LPs…hopefully its not brickwalled to hell but when I see the name Kevin Shirley I tend to think it will be… as the French say "on vera" (sic)….
