is there a way to search amazon free mp3s of the day, like their free app of the day easy search option.  sort of new to the downloading mp3s . . . and i like it.

If I understand you correctly the answer would be check on the left hand menu for "free". It used to be on the right lower. Or search $0-3.99 downloads. (Edit: that is gone now see my link below)
They used to do a song of the day free, but no more. And they removed the link on the Amazon daily deals front page for free song of day about a year ago. I think they just now offer free songs for 5 days remove and/or add to the list below every week.
Hm. Maybe you mean for free albums for popular artists? I dunno, I just read the updates from Amazon's  FB or artist's pages for announcements, or surf around Amazon when I remember. No I found it in slickdeals.net.  That is a website that talks about good deals and stuff to find on the internet and in stores

thanks for the tip. the links to free are on amazon's page, if you don't check their fb/twitter you just have to check daily. (I used to every day but stopped when they didn't post each day, or I forgot. so i agree, it's tough to have to do it manually vice an announcement/sent link from vendor)
