What I learned from the opening ceremonies is that is that do enough Charity work for a a country no one's ever heard of and they make you honorable citizens so you can compete in the olympics.  rich people…

In 1964 A group of cross-country skiers from Mongolia traveled to the Olympics, unaware of any application process. They were allowed to compete.

The real final is the US-Canada game, as expected. 

But I would have been excited for USA v Russia on Saturday too, just because of my disdain for Putin…Russia not winning hockey gold means Sochi was an absolute waste for the Russian leadership.  I just wanted it to come at the hands of the Americans.

on an emotional level, for us, sure.  but whichever makes it through is going to have their hands full with the swedes.
