I liked Solo, and even more surprising so did The Brand.  She liked it more than most other Star Wars movies…

It did poorly in the theaters because it's 6 months on the heels of The Last Jedi, rather than the annual Xmas release.  Disney has gotten too big and has too much control of large productions.  They are trying to spread Marvel/Star Wars/Disney Animated movies out to maximize profits and guessed wrong on Solo.  I bet it would have done much better had they waited until December.
i wanted, to see it . . . but it falconed right out the theatre, before I had a chance to shoot first.

Much to my surprise, I quite enjoyed it as well. May be my favorite of the Disney efforts. It was certainly the most fun.
I liked Solo the least of all the post-Force Awakens movies. I just found zero connection between the young Solo and what he supposedly grew into for Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi. He was just some generic dude with a cocky smile and brash attitude and I was all, zzzzzzzzz.

I like using the moniker Swinger Jon F instead of Obama's Jon F….since Pod Save it stopped being appropriate.

And yes, Fett survives, but the new live action series will tie in the Mandalorians from Star Wars Rebels and sould be brilliant.
Also, forgot to note that I will be out of town on Apr 5 and won't be attending the Empire Strips Back.
Just show me the goddamn trailer already

Star Wars Celebration sees it any minute, right?  I keep refreshing YouTube….

EDIT: 11AM Chicago time, so maybe it's another hour.
Yeah, but I can't stream the whole thing, so just put it on YouTube ASAP, folks.

EDIT: just cancelled a meeting so I can watch.
