I took the day off to watch the Mandalorian.  Solid.
Tonight's viewing.  Pretty psyched

took a little bit to get the free verizon …but yeah…it is awesome
I"m glad we didn't get the whole series dumped in one day…I really hate binge watching or trying to avoid spoilers
Other than the Nat Geo content, there really wasn't a ton of other stuff I found very interesting being offered (although the pixar shorts are great)

gotta imagine there are a bunch of adults miffed that they were spending $25-50 per DVD and making a 50 disc collection that now is pissed they spent $1500 on these and now have zero resale value (hutch alert, gotta imagine the thrift shops will be flooded with Disney/marvel/pixar stuff on the cheap)

I know this isn't SW related…but His Dark Materials has been an excellent watch so far, the kids love it
Yup…dvds go for $1-$3

Same with bluerays

I still like buying certain things like hitchcock, woody Allen, Criterion, kids movies , music concerts

But even I have stopped myself from buying a lot of stuff

Agreed.  Really looking forward to Ep 2 tomorrow (which I also have off).

Funny, after I watched the Mandalorian, I switched to the NatGeo stuff just for the views.  I did notice a few Star Wars documentaries that I'm also going to watch, and I'm committed to catching up on Clone Wars before the new episodes are released.  The Brand and mother-in-law (and presumably the baby at some point) will enjoy all of the rest.

It's not as if I haven't been warning people for years to stop buying tangible media.  That being said, I did buy all 8 of the UHD Digital versions of the Skywalker sage before Disney+ was announced, though some were purchased with credits and gift cards.  Yeah, kind of bummed about that, but because they are downloadable, there is some flexibility that I can enjoy there.  The super low three year subscription price to D+ does help take the sting off.
May have already been posted…but .williams sonoma has some great SW stuff

Between this and them finding the actor that played BoShek a few years back, we're running out of Star Wars mysteries

So glad they're addressing this:

I do love how at the end of #3 he looks over and says "I got to get me one of those"
I'd just like to chime in and say that seeing IG-88 breaking bad with blasters and a crew of Mandalorians flying in and taking out a crew of bounty hunters is the stuff of nkotb's dreams from about the age of 4 until last Friday.
IG-88, being a droid, has to return.  With the same personality.  And maybe a chip on it's soldier?

And staying true to the Mandalorian stories from The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels has been fantastic.  It's always been one of my favorite story lines….

Yeah, I'd assume it's not the last we see of him, but fingers crossed we get some of the other bounty hunters from ESB.

I'll admit I'm pretty behind on Rebels and Clone Wars.  The joy of having kids to watch this stuff with was quickly eclipsed by the fact that they'd wake up before me on weekends and watch several episodes without me. I need to catch up.

technically the IG-11…but who's THAT into it

I did love his personality and great moves as a gunslinger

word is …he's coming back
