6 months not riding was brutal, but good news keeps popping up
New York's Empire State Trail is complete. Now you can bike or hike from NYC to Buffalo. 750 miles, it will be the longest state-run, multiuse trail in the nation

actually, I biked from about 50 miles outside of Erie to there and on another trip went from Buf to Brockport
New York State in the summer is fantastic

You also can go due north

Have I ever talked about these people that wear the tight bike jerseys? Some of them who look good, some of them who only think they do?
What's the deal with wearing a jersey that has Tony the Tiger or Snap Crackle Pop on it? Do people get these free by sending in box tops?
A few weeks about, I saw a guy wearing a CBGB jersey. That one I would wear, if there was a way to conceal my gut.

9:30 Merch used to sell a bike jersey…but they've never had a running / tech shirt. I've never had the energy to complain about this, though.

My workstation monitor is just about big enough (27") to fill my field of vision. Full screen of that is pretty intense.

this is an excellent idea!
The W&OD Trail in Falls Church now has separate paths for those on bikes and those on foot.
Arlington is hoping to get funding for something similar here. https://www.arlnow.com/.../separate-cycling-walking.../
