have you had their beers? Granted, I only tried one or two at the Brewers Ball but they were not very good…..

Ok…I'll be honest…they've only had a few of the 10 or so I've tried that I thought were good-to-really good
The First Time - Imperial Stout
1821 Dark - Belgian Strong Dark Ale
American Strong Ale
One's And Zero?s - American Brown Ale
I thought were all pretty good and worth coming back for
they really had some big misses IMO:
Chocolate Pilsner
Fashionably late (pumpkin)
Lost Bog man - made with peat
The Last Dance - oatmeal stout
Ginger Saison
Dashes and dots is a decent IPA, but doesn't pack a lot of a punch of flavor
same with the Folded note pils
I support them like Redskins fans…they are my local team even if they can't really seal the deal
I'm like 1 mile from them and know the owner
So I'm biased
I'm sure Sweets, Space and Yada would stick their collective noses in the air at the place
to add insult to injury…pricing is a little steep …$22 for some of the growlers and $10 for some of the beers
Wow…really sold them down the river with that post
but who actually reads this site anyway
especially this thread

That seems on point, ie when they miss they miss big - the beer at brewers ball was embarassingly bad

I read a tiny bit of that. We live in such a weird world… Everyone constantly needs to share everything. Why cant this dude just ride his fucking bike without having to write a huge essay on it? Also, who is the audience that wants to read about some random dude's long bike trip?

umm…isn't that what the internets is all about
I agree, he did ramble on quite a bit
but I skimmed the first 500 words or so until I got to the part "when I started the ride"
even then he went on a bit much
but it's pretty hardcore none the less…that's quite a feat

agreed. it's like people going on and on about bands that no one has ever heard of, telling us how great they were at some small baltimore venue…
oh, wait.

I do not understand why some of you think telling a music nerd that he is a music nerd, is an insult.
