OSCAR TALK or Why Mad Max Is The Best Movie of the Year, Sidehatch

Spinal Tap is great

Don’t look back is boring
The Song Remains the Same
Are these movies or just concert footage interspersed with cheezy clips?

Spinal Tap is a movie….the rest not even….more like rockumentarys
Heavy Trip

Turo is stuck in a small village and the best thing in his life is being the lead vocalist for the amateur metal band Impaled Rektum. He and his bandmates have practiced for 12 years without playing a single gig. The guys get a surprise visitor from Norway – the promoter for a huge heavy metal music festival – and decide it's now or never. They steal a van, a corpse, and even a new drummer to make their dreams a reality.
Now that has potential

Definitely sounds  like the movie that's going to get me back into the local cineplex. Lol.

I wonder what old Mankie is up to? Still dreaming of a threeway with David Bowie and Annie Lennox?

"Mank,” the David Fincher-directed drama about how screenwriter Herman Mankiewicz developed and co-authored the screenplay for “Citizen Kane,” dominated the 93rd Academy Award nominations Monday morning, earning 10 nods including best picture.
