Yeah, a lot of us watch Real Time with Bill Maher, professor.

actually, a lot of us don't.  just look at his ratings…

also, i don't believe that Maher qualifies as prestige television, so why should anyone watch it, jules?
I didn't realize his viewership went down from 4 mil in 2015 to around 1.5 mil per show in 2020

I mean 1.5 mill per show isn't that bad for a premium cable show tho…

I would think it kinda does?
is this a failed state post…

Roughly 5,000 National Guard troops will remain in Washington, D.C. until mid-March, the expected end date of former President Trump’s impeachment trial, Pentagon officials revealed Monday.

Yeah, I've been pretty quiet. It's been a mess of a year already, but I'm hopeful it will suck less sooner rather than later.

come on man, ya gotta give us more meat than that!
just glad your safe and loving all the face time you've been getting on the national news
Tim…come on man don't say things like this out loud

Tim Kaine: “To do a trial knowing you’ll get 55 votes at the max seems to me to be not the right prioritization of our time. Obviously we do a trial — maybe we can do it fast.”

never heard of Lydia, but was intrigued…had a great line from a post yesterday

It would be funny if they didn't have guns …
Hmmm, that’s not a good sign, I wish he defended himself, that would be some good theater

all five of the impeachment lawyers — Butch Bowers, Deborah Barbier, Josh Howard, Johnny Gasser, and Greg Harris — have left Trump's legal team
Ok explain how it matters given we will never find enough Republicans to convict?

I am seeing this almost glee from liberals about Trump’s defense being in disarray but are liberals just too stupid to realize he doesn’t need a defense or what am I missing?

This reminds me of the constant liberal lying to themselves about Trump..o he doesn’t want to be elected…. oh he is going to resign, o Mueller is going to get him, o the democrat candidate is going to clean his clock…

I find these types of posts incredibly annoying… is it just that democrats enjoy lying to themselves and getting their hopes up or that they are really incredibly stupid? A combination?
You're not missing anything.  This last attempt at impeachment is a wasted effort and, imo, really makes the democrats look dumb.  It'll never happen.
only time will tell.  Odds are in your favor

but don't think it's anything like the first impeachment
12 more votes seem insurmountable, but I want these senators on record and have them make statements under oath
that may sway more, probably not enough to get to 67, but we'll see
The Dems will control the narrative this time
Your level of delusion saddens me…

It’s the same stupid arguments from the last impeachment: once the evidence comes out Yada Yada

He was rightly impeached, again, but the idea he will be convicted or that the truth matters in any way to Republicans… such that Trump must field a legal team

It’s laughable

I guess this is the central crux to this
