Why do dudes wear crew neck t-shirts under polo shirts?

Is it me getting sweatier,, or does it become less effective if you use it all the time?

Why would you want A&F clothing?
Actually, truth be told, this was a past problem of my youth that resulted in my addiction to undershirts. Now, I put them on under almost anything except t-shirts, and mostly because I'm super fickle about my shirts feeling itchy or uncomfortable, and because it's just second nature now.

I can't say I've ever consciously chosen to coordinate my undershirt with my outfit, although t-shirts sometimes fill in the role when I'm too lazy to do laundry.

Oh, and Mitchum didn't help one bit with my problem. I guess I just had to grow out of being so hot-blooded.

they do 36 inch waist jeans….. If you cannot get into them, you are clearly not of the right image to wear them. It makes perfect sense.
In other words, Markie has the body of an Asian (male or female)
Forchristssakes, some people just always wear an undershirt! Get over it!

vneck is proper with a polo, however
can't believe i agree with rhett
V-neck t-shirts are only slightly less trailer park than wifebeaters.

And all those good looking employees???? Ever tried to get help from them? Talk about lights on but nobody's home!!!!!!
I always go there. Love that place. Been there easily 200 times. Have never bought a single thing, though I fit them all with my girlish figure.

My bosses daughter works there and gave me the low down on all the rules - simply ridiculous. The cute ones are out front welcoming customers, the "less cute" ones do the clothes folding, restocking and ringing up of customers. No black flip flops. All clothes must be from A&F. The tighter the better. It's a group hiring process, similar to a line-up. Classic exploitation at its finest in this PC world.
Some people wear the t-shirts under the polos just for an extra layer of warmth. I know that's hard to remember now at this time of year, unless you work on my unit which is freezing! I wear camisoles under mine but they never show.
I think that pretty much sums it up. Look out for patrons wearing those at the Black Cat sometime next year.

i like v neck t-shirts……………you are all crazy

i do really hate polo shirts with the collars up though…………that "style" is always favored by twats
i've pretty much always worn an undershirt, unless i'm wearing a t-shirt. however, i hate v-neck's. . all types of them- t-shirts, sweaters, whatever. ugh.
V-neck sweaters are good with button down shirts.

Because they show cleavage.

How about V-Neck sweaters with crew neck t-shirts?
While we're on the topic of fashion, when did it become acceptable for women to wear sleeveless shirts in the workplace? This is not professional.

Not that I'm complaining. So many beautiful armpits…a guy can't help but occasionally look, right?…

But then again, I have beautiful armpits, and I manage to wear shirts with sleeves on them to work.
I'm sure my style, or lack there of, breaks every rule mentioned on this thread. Like NKOTBIE, I detest the V-neck, no matter what kind of shirt. But I always wear a T-shirt under polo's, under sweaters, under button-downs, under everything basically. Mostly cause at some point in my youth, it was comfoartable, and now it always will be. I hated undershirts for a very long time, cause they always shrunk in the wash and never fit me after one wear. However, I discovered the soft world of jockies, and now I can wear undershirts again, cause they fit and they feel good. But I still tend to wear them only with dress shirts. Cotton T-shirts will always be my undershirt of choice. It's all about comfort to me.
