I'm sure some people will be disappointed and some people will love it

I am trying to come up with the best lineup I possibly can, and don't want to book anything mediocre just to try & get it done in order to compete with other festivals announcements

I want everyone to say "Gosh, Mr. Hurwitz, you booked the bestest festival a kid could have"

Don't expect Vampire Weekend, Justice, or MGMT like some people predicted/wished for. They will all be playing Summer Sonic in Japan the same weekend.

Also Cat Power has confirmed and Wilco will be on Saturday.

Anyone have any hotels they used last year that they'd recommend? Preferably near the public transportation.

both have new albums coming out this summer

Prince is easily a headliner for Coachella and he wasn't announced until late …

that's 'cause prince wasn't added until later, when they saw that people weren't buying. he wasn't part of the original blueprint for coachella'08.
