I am in pain over Ween…it is no longer a unit or band just a license to print $ every once in a while…someday Gene is going to get rid of that woman and realize he can manage things…it is not all or nothing..I hope Deaner is still around when that happens…

Did you read the Claude interview above?
I think part of the blame is Gener's wife (at the original break up), however, there is obviously some animosity between Gener/Deaner and the addition of major drug/alcohol problems doesn't help things.
If you truely think about really any bad that's been together for even 10+ years, imagine working with the same person/people for nearly 30 years. I'm sure it takes a pretty big toll. At any rate, until the playing is impacted, I'll be there with bells on.
Still need a hutch/yada pilgrimage to New Hope for an evening with Deaner.
No had not read that but yeah gener and deaner have issues…It is a real shame…they should lock themselves up in a cabin with some purple haze and cuervo and sit down to create music and in that way work through the issues but it sounds like too much water under the bridge…particularly am guessing the issues are about deaner and how he treated gener’s wife who btw sounds like a nightmare…tough to fix
