Man that line was Brutal to get in. I was surprised they could fit that many people in
Sound was great, band was tight
Not sure I wanted 15 songs from the pod/GWS era…but there are some good gems in there
What deaner, Vallejo, Flutes of the Chi, Dr Rock, baby bitch, piss up a rope, Buck Green->Mutilated lips were all spot on
but it was the deep cuts show, didn't play the hits for sure
Cornbread Red is one I'd never heard before, so that was nice

Pre show libations at Astrolab between what some have said is the Mt. Rushmore of the forum, good times were had by all and beers were above average. The soft pretzel was massive.
A brisk 10 minute walk led us to the longest line I've ever encountered at a venue. Mild panic ensued and I just walked up to the front door, said I had a fast pass to get in, no one even looked and I just walked in. The chaos of the line/process was a bit ridiculous but it seemed to move quickly enough. It was ass to no masks inside, will definitely be putting my booster to test. Maybe masks aren't enforced in venues anymore, I can't keep up with what's acceptable.
As side roll said above, definitely a super deep cut show, will be interested to see what extracon thought. My highlight were frank, mono, awesome sound, and albino sunburned girl (maybe a top five ween song of mine). And during albino, like a rising phoenix I come face to face with walky coming through the crowd. I don't believe in fate, but it was meant to be. I hope he enjoyed the show as it definitely hit the sweet spots of the eras he enjoyed.
Band seemed healthy and happy which was good to see. It's still funny to me seeing these guys interact juiced up on nothing but seltzer, antidepressants, and caffeine.
Loved seeing them again in a club and hope to do it again In 2022!

Great to meet IRL at AstroLab and hang in the venue with fellow boardies. The line outside was similar to Heilung, but not my experience for every FSS show. Sorry to have missed walky and K8t!
Overall hugely impressed with the band - it was my first time so I really have no context for how this might differ. Sound was excellent, talent and musicianship were stellar. Ultimately had to leave after the 3rd (or fourth?) round of Can You Taste the Waste, as I was fading from an early morning and a heavy pour of bourbon.
I will definitely be back for more, perhaps wearing a fancy suit, next time around :)

Only on Sunday nights….Simpson's, Bob's Burgers, and Succession..at my wife and daughter's insistence.
Agreed about the great sound. Great setlist overall and much better than the DAR show in 2008.
