Well my vote helped Nikki win Fairfax County.

I'm not sure it's apples to apples, but Trump sure crushed Biden in Virginia.

So how many of those Haley voters were in fact democrats

Haley beat Trump in Arlington County, Fairfax County, Alexandria and the City of Fairfax, NBC News projected, with 99% of expected votes in. In Arlington, Haley won 73.7% of the vote.

It just astonishes me that people will continue to vote for fuckwits who want to cut their Social Security, which is our money not some handout… but you know trans people, etc etc

MTG filing a motion to vacate is at the behest of trump/putin.  by removing the speaker, the GOP will go need to spend days or weeks finding a new speaker, until then any aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan will continue to go nowhere. 

fantasy-land: the Dem recruit 4 or more non-MAGA Repubs and elect a speaker of their choosing (i suspect it would need to be a Repub, despite the majority of the votes coming from Dems), one that will among other things bring the Senate's foreign assistance bill up for a vote.


Edit  or they strike a deal with Johnson - you keep your speakership with our support in exchange for bringing up the aid bill immediately
