i got tix this morning on the pixiesmusic presale.. nothing special 2 in section M row N (nearly as far away from the stage as possible) but now I'm setting my sights on the 12/8 show. Anyword on when the 9:30 presale will take place?

Not to spread misinformation as this may not be the way it goes down but sometimes when theres a second show in the wings, they just put them out there for sale w/o any fanfare when the first one sells out (or is close to selling out) so Id watch ticketmaster.com closely tomorrow.

Hmm…dentist appointment meant no tickets for me…I still think the 8th is for me. Alas, have fun all at the show on the 7th. And wish me luck tomorrow morning…grumble grumble.

Bad presale tix occasionally available: just got row DD for the 7th using the 9:30 password. More impressive as a bra size than seat location, but what the heck we're in.
And while I'm here a story about my lifetime worst decision regarding a show: was living in Boston in the late 80s, Gigantic was on the radio constantly, and I heard the Pixies were returning from England and doing their first US gig as semi-stars at the intimate (i.e. hole in the wall) TT the Bear's Place in Cambridge. And I thought, "these guys are going to be really big…but nah, I don't like them that much." They've grown on me since.

Why is this all so terribly confusing? It should be like in the old days when everyone had to wait in line for their tickets.
Or there should just be cage matches to the death.

why I remember back in 1977, we had to line up for FIVE DAYS in the Capital Centre parking lot for Led Zeppelin tickets. AND WE LIKED IT!
