good to see the Pixies are on the "Texas Stage". I know they rank among my top 10 Texas bands.

Don't forget they are the surprise guests at the Moving Units Coachella kickoff party in Pomona. Should be an insane show for those that got tickets!

So what are the DC rumors. Seth…will they be doing 4 nights at the club? It would be a real shame for them to play some place like DAR. What's the deal? They're playing Philly December 4th.

The DC rumours are that DC is not quite as cool of a town as Bozeman, Boise, and Des Moines, so you aint gettin a show at all, dude. Not until we stop the fuckers from littering the sidewalks with KFC boxes and Burger King trash.

Please god. Not Bender, Pat Center or any other university dump. Those sandboxes are fine for a sporting event but suck for a show. Besides, you can't enjoy an adult beverage at those gigs. I hope they do play Constitution Hall, Merriweather Post, anywhere but a college.

I saw the Pixies back in 1989, and managed to enjoy myself quite a bit, even without an "adult beverage".

A show without booze is like a show without the faint stench of marijuana, the "woo" girl, the Freebird guy, or the faux encore. I'd rather stay home than be deprived of these concert staples.

Here's a new LA Weekly story about the Pixies, I don't think anyone has posted this yet.

The author saw them at the old club in 89…perhaps they spilt their alcoholic

Now that I am currently living in South America, I decided to see the Pixies in Brazil. I got a ticket for the Curitiba Pop Festival next weekend. Pixies and Teenage Fanclub.

Constitution Hall is easily one of the worst places ever to see a rock concert. Why the hell aren't the Pixies coming to 9:30? This news blows.
