Rumor which was not denied: Tobin Sprout will be playing some shows with the band leading up to the box set release.

no dc? they'll come back through the east this year, i bet. not exactly hitting everywhere on the east coast like they usually do.

They seem to really like playing the Recher.I guess it's too soon after playing DC this summer to hit DC again.i sure hope the Tobin rumor is true.I'd take a day off work and go if that was the case.

man, the one year it would be cool to have veteran's day off, and its one of the few that i have to work. saw them twice this year already, so i'll just bank on them coming back through early next year.

So its not official but it looks like Toby might open
a couple of shows in November (looking at the GBV Tour
Page it might be easy to figure which ones). That
would be the extent of things. He's not playing WITH
GBV it would be purely opening for. That's all I know
and that's all I can say for now.

Hey, we only live a few miles apart. ;)

I won't be attending this show though. Not a fan of the band.

What a small world, Jaguar! A fellow music/9:30 club fan in the nearby area. Good to know. I remember reading your posts during Hurricane Isabel about whether going to the club to catch BRMC. You said you were in Baltimore and were ambivalent about going due to the weather. I too wanted to go to that show.. and couldn't go due to the bummer weather. :cool:

God, yes! I'm still crying over that one. Well, at least I didn't have any real problems personally with the storm. One of the lucky ones! I'm sure we made the right call that night. Sometimes it sucks playing it smart.
