well, it is radiohead… not exactly dance music :) but i get your point that some folks are pretty boring at shows.

cool. i like HoC, but apparently a lot of RH fans don't. claim it's a momentum-killer whenever they play it. i disagree.

I am doing my best to withhold from an all out rant at this terribly off-base comment you made.

For one to call themselves a fan of both Radiohead and dance music and then to make this statement is ludicrous and flat out crazy.
Bodysnatchers > All I Need > Weird Fishes > Jigsaw Falling Into Place > House of Cards
We had some crazy rain with flooding in Baltimore this afternoon. Was wondering if there was any chance that Radiohead drove through town on their way to their next gig?

hehehe. they're playing in mansfield (boston) at this very moment, so from camden they headed north last night/this morning. you're going to have to blame someone/something else.
tonight's concert from santa barbara, the last of the north american tour, is currently streaming live at http://www.radiohead.tv/

assuming they play a full set, should end some time around 1:00 AM

Best show of tour? I'd say LA, Night 2.

1. Reckoner
2. Optimistic
3. There There
4. 15 Step
5. All I Need
6. Pyramid Song
7. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
8. The Gloaming
9. Videotape
10. Talk Show Host
11. Faust Arp
12. Tell Me Why
13. No Surprises
14. Jigsaw Falling Into Place
15. The Bends
16. National Anthem
17. Nude
18. Bodysnatchers

19. House of Cards
20. Planet Telex
21. Go Slowly
22. Fake Plastic Trees
23. True Love Waits
24. Everything In Its Right Place

25. Cymbal Rush
26. Karma Police
27. Idioteque
for the record, they didn't do a full True Love Waits at LA night 2. They just did it as a brief intro to EIIRP.

I still think Bristow had the best setlist.

I know, but it was the most complete version of it that they'd done on the tour. It was so unexpected and brilliant. They didn't soundcheck that day, so NO one knew what would come. It was brilliant!

Chula Vista was a close 2nd in terms of performance/setlist. The stretch from Talk Show Host through Where I End and You Begin into Weird Fishes was magnificent. I just wish they did Like Spinning Plates like they'd planned to!
Soooo…who's in for Mexico City on March 15-17th??

I just saw it. Right now, there's a flight from American Airlines on Priceline from BWI to Mexico City for $398 R/T…just sayin!

These dates are rumored to be with Sigur Ros, btw. Sweetcell, you there?

(SXSW is 3/18-22, for all interested parties, so it's totally do-able)
Dude don't tempt me.

I have an unused Delta ticket that would cover this.

No way my broke ass could do SXSW but RH/Sigur Ros sounds way too awesome to turn down.

ya think?!? already pricing this trip but won't be booking anything until tickets are secured. venue holds 50,000, usually the whole place is GA. with 150k tickets on offer, shouldn't be too hard to get.

btw, sigur ros have confirmed that they will not be playing with RH in MX. bummer.
Ugh. I wonder who they're teaming with in Mexico, then…they couldn't possibly be doing this by themselves, right? I mean, are they that big of a draw in Mexico? 50,000-capacity venues…that's major.
Bjork, perhaps?
hmm the week of march 15th could possibly be spring break… hmmmmmmm

fyi, this announcement was front-page news in mexico city this week. i have no doubt that these 3 shows will sell out. a big-name opening act isn't required. someone on another message board mentioned that word on the street was that El Tri might open, never heard of them.
radiohead was on the HD music concert channel today. ill save the trip to mexico. they did sound good.

interesting… do you happen to remember the date & place of the show? was it a recent one from this tour (in rainbows)? if i had to guess i'd say santa barbara, since NPR broadcast it live. maybe it was one of last week's japanese shows?
not sure…they ended with creep though, if that helps
ah, thanks. that makes it an old show - they haven't played creep since 2006.
