everyone whos "never going back to nissan" will be there when radiohead or what overated band they swoon over plays there again…
i won't go to nissan for anyone. i won't go to dar for anyone. i won't go to disco rodeo (formerly the ritz) for anyone. i won't go to 'montage mountain' in scranton for anyone. i think that's all my list is, but i'm sticking to it.

missed it. it was bull run all over again for me. by the time we got around all of the flooding, the cops told us to turn around because the parking lots were full. so the parking fees included in our tickets didn't actually include parking? wtf? is anyone else who didn't make it in due to flooding, road closures, and no parking going to make an attempt to get a refund, or is that completely pointless since the show went on? not that it will make up for missing the show, but still…

Good luck and let me know if you get any replies.
normally i hate watching youtube concert footage, but someone who had a great seat is putting up almost every song, and they're not shot that bad. kudos to the internet kids who are ruining another form of proceed to the artist. pretty soon, why buy concert tickets?

I am sure in this case, it is more pleasurable watching "Fake Plastic Trees" on youtube is way more fun than sitting in traffic for 6.5 hours last night, or missing the show entirely.
My friend who attended just wrote to me and said Nissan is probably the 7th or 8th level of hell.

Well, yeah. I think Nissan is the exception to the rule here. And I completely agree that the PC would have been a welcome replacement to last night's clusterfuck.

wonder where that coldplay vs nissan thread is… also counting down until seth says "i told them so" :)

they still got paid for the shows and did the shows and don't have to bother thinking about what the average concertgoer had to deal with.
in my opinion, they still haven't completely made up for bull run, which they said they would (something about dc having priority next tour)… 1 merriweather show doesn't make up for that.

I dont know, I cant really say too much about Nissan since I figure last night was an exception to how things usually run.
I wont go cause its just so far away. In the time spent going home (show ended at 11pm we got home at 2:30am) i could have EASILY driven home from Philly or even Camden, NJ.
Living in Baltimore, its just not the closest venue, really ever.

ohhhhhhhh I see, well great show none the less. it does suck for those who got stuck in traffic and missed the entire thing. I came way early because of the horror stories with traffic. getting out was ridiculous he'll bonnaroo isn't that bad to get out and that's 80,000 hippies

they haven't played IN dc in 10 years. before that they weren't big enough to play that.
we had a much worse time leaving Coachella in 2004 (when Radiohead played).
show ended at midnight, we left the lot at 4:30am. it was a nice night out tthough :)
