I bought this ticket on a whim, not knowing anything about the band. Just wanted to get out and blow off some steam. With zero context and expectations, I had a fantastic time and the band delivered.

I got close - 3rd row center - for an amazing show. Skye was frustrated early on with what seemed like a mellow crowd and tried hyping everyone up with a lot of banter. Later in the show, security came and harassed some dude for standing and dancing (and I guess blocking the view of everyone sitting behind him).

It was some kids first concert ever, and she got pulled up on stage for one song.

At one point, Skye stumbled a bit while dancing in her platform shoes. She laughed it off, threw her shoes to the side and joked about how turning 50 changes you. She looked out into the audience and asked if there were any 50 year olds out there. When my hand shot up, she pointed at me and was like “no way!”

I stuck around and got the set list directly from Godfrey while he was signing autographs. I was so excited I told him thanks, then walked away. I turned around to see the look of disappointment on his face when I didn’t ask him to sign it.


10/10 would see again
