I would assume Loverboy was the headliner on that bill.

Does anyone remember those $5 shows at the Cap Centre in the last 70's? I think it was called Summerfest or something. Carnival in the parking lot, and a week full of shows for cheap prices. I saw Molly Hatchet and Loverboy one night, and Triumph a couple of nights later. I think there was maybe a Kool and the Gang show, and possibly others. For the record, Molly Hatchet was pretty good, and Triumph was great. Loverboy, not much to see there…

My brother saw that Triumph show. First concert any of my siblings had ever been to. I was unbearably jealous of him at the time.

is the point of this thread to post shows you've gone to on the specified date or just post shows that happened on said date?

I saw Triumph at the Patriot Center in 1986. The opener was none other than Yngwie J. Malmsteen. And yes, he did
unleash the fuckin' fury.

Does anyone have access to the history of shows at the club? My data is a little lacking in that area.

Some of us have spreadsheets.
And curse ourselves for not having made it a database when we started it years ago.

So these old farts kept notes back in the 70's and 80's and transferred this data over to Excel in the golden age of technology? Impressive.
