damn, way ahead of the curve on that one
was it all that?
I had seen Phish once, earlier in the year and was intrigued to check 'em out again. I didn't know Blues Traveler beyond hearing the name, so figured to go early. My big memory is a large geeky guy in a fisherman's vest doing roadie stuff before the show, and then being shocked that he was in fact the frontman.

It came down to 50,000 votes in Ohio. We got close. Would have been seismic. Americans are fundamentally conservative particularly in times of war. It would have been a big upset. This election doubly depressed me as I was a big Howard Dean supporter. I actually wrote letters to people I didn’t even know. Aaghhhj youth…idealism…where did you go?
Am so glad I caught this show from almost the beginning as Mellencamp was absolutely fantastic! Twas the only time I saw him. Also only time I saw REM but nothing stayed with me other than Stipe looking like a lightbulb. Dave Matthews Band played the longest set and, surprisingly to me, were good.

Maybe this would have all been better if we had a separate thread for Rural Real Estate Agents, one for The Gay Content, and yet another one just for Walky as like a regular dude who posts stuff he likes. Heck, he could even have my potato thread if that would bring him back.

Walkys faux outrage is as common as a hurricane. They come once or twice a year… are forgotten about, and then come back like the legendary storm they are.

I wasn't aware that shoving a shampoo bottle up your ass was gay? I know many heterosexuals that like things in their ass.

I, as always, remain above the fray of these petty squabbles. Why can’t more people follow my lead?

So why did you post that in Walky’s thread?
