Official 930 Club Replacements Echostage May 8 Show

so for those keeping score we have 3 got tickets and 5 failed

It very well may have been a very small presale.  We had four people trying and only one got tix.  And we all were on it right away. 

I'll go stubhub route if necessary, so I'm not freaking.  I do think public sale will be okay.  That blast email goes to SO many folks, it's not like a fan club presale.

I tried and got nothing. A few friends tried too and didn't get any either.  :'(
will try again tomorrow.

btw, the Echostage twitter the other day said the pre-sale was sold out. I'm guessing that was a different pre-sale?

generally the presale is the easier option… at least that is what i've found…but maybe this was a small presale…

That's what I'm hoping. I tried like crazy to get tickets and couldn't get a single thing. I can't stand ticketmaster. But seriously, I hope it was one of those small selection of tickets and tomorrow will be much easier. Especially since I decided to be late for work this morning thinking I'd get tickets. I don't have internet access at work aside from my phone. Any word on how decent ticketmaster's app is? I'm scared to use it. Hence why I thought I'd take a chance of being late to work to get these tickets today.

I also got an odd theory that maybe there will be tickets available later today or something. I swear you'd be surprised by what gets stuck in the system.

hopefully they didn't sell all tickets like some presales do…

i am among the lucky few. the presale code was on the replacements fan facebook page(s) last night. My guess is that only around 500 tickets went onsale in the presale.

saintanglesin, we've had better success with the Ticketmaster app than we have online, even folks who were at their desks at work with fantastic internet access.  So don't discount your chances!  I think it was the Foo Chicago show, the only folks who got field tickets were using the App.

I used the app on my iphone to get the presale tickets. tried simultaneously on my work computer and got nothing. Also, no "Captcha" BS on the app.

It was never this hard to get tickets to see them back in the day.

well u got scalpers trying too so that makes it harder

Wasn't the ticket limit 8? That's a lot for a presale.

well, for the scoreline i only count 930 Forumers…

I'm really surprised there were this many misses. Must be a very small proportion of the tickets.

We had four people trying.  Nobody got a single ticket.

The real question is can anyone on here assist me in getting Westerberg's autograph for a platonic female friend of mine?
