wheeee.... legal drugs!

Bummer for the dog and you.  Glad he'll be okay.  I blame your wife.
Sorry to hear of your dogs ordeal.

The thing about the “yard work noise pollution” aside that always cracks me up is: what do you want people to do exactly? You cannot just NOT mow your lawn or take your leaves. In Richmond, it’s literally a civil violation and they’re going to send DPW out to do it and bill you.

So many people hate the sound of yard work and I guess I get the specific complaint if someone is doing it at 5am but it’s literally an unavoidable evil until silent lawnmowers are made. It’s not someone specifically being a jerkass.
The way your wife threw the vet under the bus makes me suspicious.

The cover up is always worse than the crime.

I'm not sure how she threw the vet under the bus?

When she alleged "planting," she was accusing ME of feeding the weed to the dog and trying to blame HER for it, because she knows I don't like it. She even said "How convenient that this happens right after you berate a neighbor for smoking in their backyard.

As if I would endanger my puppy's life and cost myself a $760+ vet bill (she scoffed when I suggested maybe she should pay more than half the bill) and put myself through six hours of agony to fuck with her.
Oh sorry…I read that wrong

Although I am still suspicious
So did everyone see Trump is now on the pro-weed train!

I think this is huge missed opportunity for Biden, but I guess he needs congress?

This could be a game changer for my wife, lol.
Nobody votes based on stance on drugs.

hmm, maybe not a single issue like abortion/guns, but I'd think it could tip the dial on independents
James Earl Jones, Ed Kranepool, and hopefully Harvey Weinstein.

Are we allowed to wish for death for convicted felons like that?

Oops wrong thread.

Firstly I am not sure there are any undecided voters.

Second of all we always have this idea of rational educated voters listing the issues important to them and the position of the different candidates- like in a matrix- counting the check marks for each and voting for the candidate whose positions they agree the most.

I really don’t believe that’s how people vote.

Fully agree.

i haven't tried there "giant mushrooms", but i'm a YUGE fan of wild mushrooms.  there are only 3 varieties that i'll gather and eat (oysters, chanterelles and lobster) but there are enough of them in the woods around me to keep me happy.  maybe someday i'll get more serious about wild shrooms and take a class or otherwise learn more.  until such time, i'm very conservative in my picking and limit myself to the 3 kinds i know (and love!).

Did you know that John Cage—yes, that John Cage—won ~$8K on Italian TV for his expertise on mushrooms?
(since we're sorta off-topic about this anyways: went for a walk this morning this the kids, picked 13 pounds of lobster mushrooms along with a few chanterelles.  our grocery store sells lobster shrooms for $35/lbs - so a $455 haul!)
