Marijuana Compounds Show Promise In Protecting Brain Cells From Alzheimer's (from forbes)
I do like how they end the article
So at the moment there?s nothing solid enough here to support using pot or increasing dosage for regular users.
Put this one in the ?promising but not actionable? column for now.

A renewed focus on recreational marijuana in states that have legalized pot would present a departure from the Trump administration's statements in favor of states' rights.
I love how Republicans only like states rights when it's something they agree with…then it's time for the Feds to curtail those crazy states

CA says bring it. This is how the resistance starts to move from a consensus to a majority.
We are not talking about tobacco/nicotine and that crazy chemical fruit flavored stuff that the majority of people are talking about when they say Vape
I don't at all dispute Grateful's claims, as IMO it's similar to over processed food people eat
I'm not going to say that it's healthy, but it's all organic material and nothing else (typically the gourmet growers use very little chemicals because it's a controlled area and easy to keep pests out …mileage may vary)
it's heated to a temp lower than combustion, so you are not getting bits of wood/vegetable matter floating about your lungs
I try to always use ceramic or glass
Let me restate, I never said it was healthy

Took me two an half hours to get home last night and I didn't even get the car all the way home. Had to park it three blocks away and walk as it was dead stop. People were enjoying themselves though, so good on 'em.

makes sense as most of the west coast it's been legal for a while and they have giant growing operations
surprised about Miami though

people, still care about pot? i find the whole topic of it, to be finally fucking boring and blasé . . . and people who have had such huge problems with it over the past 30 years are still, assholes.

Even where it's legal, people care a lot about pot. The recent CA wildfires set two records - one for the largest amount of pot burnt and one for the largest amount on US paper money ever burned. So long as the Feds continue to categorize it as a Schedule 1 drug, prohibiting growers from using the banking system, it remains a cash business and is very vulnerable to theft and natural disasters. And they are prohibited from purchasing crop insurance and the federal scheme.
