wheeee.... legal drugs!

I feel like when people reach that age you have to just take anything they say with a grain of salt and be forgiving….

This is why ideally no country should elect anyone over 75 to lead them…people start to lose it a bit…
speaking of… RFK Jr's strategy for dealing with the opioid crisis: legalize weed federally, tax it, and use the proceeds to fund "wellness farms" - rural clinics/retreats where addicts can get treatment, counseling, attend 12-step meetings, commune with nature, work with their hands, get away from their old life, etc.

first, i'm not sure that system works for everyone.  not every addict is going to want to leave their communities, families, etc to go isolate with cows on a ranch.  second, even if every addict wanting treatment was interested in this approach to recovery, i doubt it would scale sufficiently to meet the enormity of the problem.

rfk jr is in recovery for heroin and alcohol.  apparently RFK jr still attends up to nine 12-step meetings a week.  sounds like an addiction…

cue the Asylum Street Spankers: We're winning the war on drugs.
We live in a timeline where NPR is about to be history
I remember a SNL skit with the "all drug olympics"

Framing itself as a transparent, science-forward alternative to traditional anti-doping events, the venture couples rigorous pre-competition medical profiling with independent backing to keep athlete safety and innovation at the forefront.
i did not have on my 2025 Bingo Card Rick Steves coming out as an enjoyer of the Wacky tobacky

And if I work all day long and want to go home, smoke a joint & just stare at the fireplace for 3 hours…that’s my civil liberty. ‪

I’ll be happy to know? If anything I should negotiate a success bonus.
I do like his defense (although didn't work)
“I am not Snoop Dogg,” Cackett insisted to the court.
Whoa… scotus to decide if you can own a gun if you’re a pot smoker

The Supreme Court on Monday said it will decide whether a federal law that prohibits unlawful drug users from having firearms violates the Second Amendment, adding a second high-stakes case involving gun rights to the docket for its current term.
How do you feel about that??
well I wouldn't even take a gun if you gave it to me for free

but I think there are tons of unstable people, pill poppers and alcoholics that are just as dangerous, if not significantly more…and should not have weapons either

So I just think this is a ploy to focus on liberals/minorities/poor rather than the real problem

I personally hate guns, but I do support the 2nd amendment
