I would say the Wrens, but the follow-up to Meadowlands was supposed to be released last year, but the band admits they haven't yet started to record it. So I'll put that on my "Looking Forward to in '09-'10" list.

On first listen, I like it a good deal. Definitely cleaner and brighter than their other albums.

I recognized quite a few of the songs from Jason Simon's local acoustic shows that I've seen.

Thank you for this. The new Mountain Goats album is on there and I love it. 2008 is starting off very well, musically.

Wasn't too crazy about that Mountain Goats. Maybe I need to give it another listen.
