yes it has. from da wiki:
The album leaked on P2P networks on March, 7, 2008, however, in poor quality and with tracks fading out in a way not intended.
i've found a torrent for a 61.1 MB file, and i'm (supposedly) currently connected to 3 hosts - but i'm not receiving anything. anyone else experience this? it's the second time this has happened to me. the conspiracy theorist in my is thinking that the RIAA is mucking up the p2p networks on purpose. dang, i hate waiting for official release dates when i know it's out there.
Yeah I got that 61 mB file curtesy of another boardy but haven't given it a listen yet.

Maybe I should hold off if it's lower quality (and that would explain why it's not on the private torrent sites).

In other news, new Jamie Lidell is around.
Wow this is even better than Multiply.
re: the Portishead leak.

Two of the songs have abrupt cutoffs at the end of tracks instead of fadeouts, but it's better then nothing. The record is really, really, really, really good.
interesting:

Danger Mouse Producing New Beck Album
Animal Collective - Water Curses is making the rounds.

Loving this version of "Street Flash"!
Just got a hold of Witch - Paralyzed.

Gonna start the day off in a very sludgy fashion. :)
m83!

Very good!
Listening to new Spiritualized.
It's not an album, but the new Jay Reatard 7" is now for sale through Matador.
i looking forward to j. kicking everybody out of dinosaur again, and making some more fog.
My impressions of a couple new releases:

Sun Kil Moon "April" – Have tried to get into this guy's stuff, whether SKM or Red House Painters and have always been put to sleep. But this is hitting very well, mostly because of the first song. Liking this a lot.

Black Keys "Attack & Release" – Good, and getting better. Some of the songs feel like classics after only 2-3 spins. Probably won't stick around the rotation for very long, but it'll get a few weeks.

Howling Rain "Magnificant Friend" – Good, but I struggle to listen to this and not lament the hiatus/split of Comets on Fire. First HR album was really mellow but this has more rawk elements.

Panic at t!he Disco – Tried to give this an objective listen, and I've had chemical romances with cheese bands in the past. But this just isn't very good. Sounds too much like they did the Alicia Keys routine of listening to a lot of classic albums and then writing songs that sound just like them. But even the Beatles didn't go straight from Please Please Me to Sgt Peppers.

Dodos "Visitor" – This is okay, kind of neat, but sounds too much like boring bands like Shins, Modest Mouse, Spoon etc.

These New Puritans "Beat Pyramid" – Other than SKM, probably my favorite of the new batch. Sounds kind of a combo of Art Brut and Bloc Party. Jagged, sorta-electronic pop with very British declaration-style vocals.
Death Cab for Cutie's new one is twixt the waves, if you're into that crapass band.
Just put on Benga - Diary of an Afro Warrior.

Been meaning to get to this for a while.
This is nowhere near as dark and plotting as most dubstep I've heard. It's way more upbeat. Also has a slightly funky downtempo tinge. I like so far.
Tobacco "Fucked Up Friends"
Boris "Smile"
Cloudland Canyon - Lie in Light just leaked.

And it's krautrock-tastic!
Hey Snailhook…

Brethren of the Free Spirit (James Blackshaw & Jozef Van Wissem) - All Things are from Him, through Him and in Him

Holy shit that pairing sounds promising. Putting it on next. I'm excited.
Billy Howerdel of A Perfect Circle has a solo project with an album coming out next week, Keep Telling Myself It's Alright. The album leaked today - like Portishead you might not find it on private sites cuz it's only 160kbps. It's pretty good but no Thirteenth Step. The best song is probably the single, The Stone, which despite being in the Top 10 rock radio tracks I have never heard on DC101.
