Celebrity Crime & Scandal Blog

i read that story awhile ago and thought it an interesting mental chalkboard.  one can draw a weird balance now between enviromentalism versus everything else, where there is few left of so many resources, that attempting to save could change the sound of what people experience.  i forgot what the article said about replacement material for instruments, and was curious if that would alter the music positive or negative.

She planned her Escape, they went their Separate Ways. Who's Cryin' Now?

i live close to their winery . . . it has had a "closed due to private event" everyday for over two months, when no one is ever there, ever.  This story about her running off and the journey thing, is what "insiders" believe to be nothing more than a cover up story to attempt to hide the news away from the fact that the foreclosure process is finally going through at the vineyard.  those two have ruined, what once was a decent vineyard in rappahannock county.
This one made me laugh and laugh, amen.

..SANGER, Texas (AP) ? Country singer Randy Travis has apologized after being arrested on a charge of public intoxication outside a North Texas church.

Denton County sheriff's spokesman Tom Reedy says police in the town of Sanger arrested Travis early Monday after spotting a vehicle parked in front of a church and finding an open bottle of wine and Travis smelling of alcohol.

Reedy says Travis, whose hits include "Forever and Ever, Amen," was brought to the Denton County jail about 1:30 a.m. and released six hours later.

The singer, who lives in the small town of Tioga near Sanger, apologized in a statement to The Associated Press "for what resulted following an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl."

Travis, who launches a concert tour Friday, says he's "committed to being responsible and accountable."

Was "Love Will Tear Us Apart" written with the knowledge of "Love Will Keep Us Together?"  Because when you put the titles back to back, the second looks like a smartass response to the first.

From Wiki:

"Love Will Keep Us Together" first appeared on Neil Sedaka's 1973 album The Tra-La Days Are Over which did not have a US release, Sedaka's version of the song making its US album debut on the 1974 compilation album Sedaka's Back.

"Love Will Tear Us Apart" is a song by the British post-punk band Joy Division. It was written in August 1979, and debuted when the band supported Buzzcocks on their UK tour in September and October 1979.

Yes, according to the internet

This was written as a cynical response to "Love Will Keep Us Together" by The Captain & Tennille. Joy Division lead singer Ian Curtis wrote it at a horrendous time in his life when his marriage was breaking up. Deborah Curtis, in her biography of Ian Curtis, Touching From a Distance, recalls her husband enthusing over the cover art for Love Will Tear Us Apart to her, although at the time he'd banned her from even coming to the band's gigs.
