Kosmo, have you gotten the new album? I haven't yet; wondering how it ranks if you've heard it.
and of the six records they have released i would rank it the lowest…
1. twice removed - brilliant a desert island disc
2. navy blues - chocked full of singles
3. between the bridges - a canadian rock opera
4. smeared - the "next" nirvana
5. one chord to another - a sloppy lets try it again as a band effort
6. pretty together - the first couple tracks are full spot the influence songs, but its pretty forgottenable by the end.

I wish Lovely Light was on this one… or at least a remix to make things interesting. But it's on "Another Mellow Spring".

I saw Lost in Translation over two weeks ago (got in to the preview screening – they had passes at DCCD). It is really excellent; I still think about it sometimes. Bill Murray is fantastic, funny but subtle and very nuanced. It's definitely a character piece.

This TCTC album is really excellent. Definitely even better than the 1st album (which I also liked). Now if they would only come over here…
And I agree that Lost in Translation is very good. I need to get that soundtrack.

at the kemp mill going out of business sale at iverson mall (marlow heights, md). all .99 records were 5 for a dollar. i even passed up a couple not realizing the 5 for a dollar special.
when i fell motivated i might post all the stuff i've gotten at the various kemp mill/ willies sales. i got two xtc boxsets at 60% off :D
