I'm going to try for the general onsale this sat - looking for GOOD $48 seats (hopefully sneak up to PIT at the show)

I took a couple seats in Row Q, just off the center section.

wow, $100 for orch pit? in the past orchestra pit has usually only been $10 more than regular orchestra.
i've sat up there before…its ok if you REALLY love the performer, otherwise its nosehair city
center front orchestra are pretty decent seats at the Trap
actually, if you ask me, all seats at Wolftrap are decent…i've never had a bad seat there

It's close to center…I'd rather be in row D close to center, than Row N center :)

It looks like if you just asked for 1 ticket, you got a much better seat than if you asked for 2 or more tickets. I could only pull row N by asking for 1 ticket. I needed 3, so we are in row R center.
I continue to find it annoying that the best seats are often not at the presale, but instead at the general sale. (Unless you don't mind paying $100 for orchestra pit!)

Donors get first dibs on seats at Wolftrap before they go to general sale.

Presales aren't usually designed to get you the best seats. They're designed to give you the best
opportunity to get seats. Less competition. Easier access. Sometimes that leads to great seats. Sometimes it means you avoid a show selling out in 4 seconds. And I think most presales offer a little of everything. Seats right up front as well as further back. But they don't claim ALL of the really good seats. I think that's fair.
Someone said they got seats in Row D. If you don't want to pay for the pit, it's hard to do much better than Row D.
