Morrissey coming to DC?

How Soon is Now was just unbelievable! Best Moz show I've seen. He assembled the best band to back him up this time around!
True that, his band sounded incredible, tight, solid and they totally rocked. He was as always very funny and delicate, the crowd was very engaged, five stars

I agree about let me get what I want as the highlight of the show, but I loved the last of the famous international playboys also…
He should have played Life Is a Pigsty :(
I agree – great show, great time!

I referred to her as "Kate Bush, practicing"

I loved the show, though is wasn't transcendent or perfect. Just a lot of fun, and very charismatic. Great, tight band that completely brought "How Soon is Now."

And I was in a full timewarp because some guy near me was wearing either Polo or Drakar….

haha! I may still have a bottle of Polo somewhere. Let me see if I can dig that up.

How was Morrissey's voice? Showing signs of being ill?

i know morrissey shows have a reputation of being out of control and all but people hardly dance at shows in d.c. and other than the shows i've been to where it was mostly high school kids, i don't think i've ever seen someone force their way on stage. please report all of the action.
i'm totally going to be in the front at tomorrow's show. i'm hoping it'll be nuts.
you better not be trying to get on stage at Rams Head pal!
Apparently, I'm late on this. But when did stage-rushing become some kind of ritual at Morrissey shows?? When I think stage-rush, I don't quite imagine Morrissey. Somebody break this down for me nice & elequent-like, please . . . .

ive seen that at every moz show ive been to since the early 90s or so? when has it not been a part of the show when someone (or lots of someones) tries to get on stage with moz and then he leaves the stage 20 mins later :)
Looks like the show tonight at Rams Head may be postponed/canceled. Son of a….!!!

Don't take my word for it, but here's what the Rams Head website says:

Morrissey

w/ Kristeen Young
Tuesday, July 3
Doors 8pm

Morrisseyâ??s concert at Rams Head Live scheduled for tonight, the 3rd of July, has been POSTPONED due to illness.
take it from someone who works there, no morrissey!

you guys must have worn him out!
Ain't this about a bitch . . . . . . . I was really amped for this show . . . .
Last night was phenomenal. I had my best seats ever at a Moz show and the "Your Arsenal" material blew my mind, but I had a feeling tonight's gig at small-ish venue such as Ram's Head would have truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience….

Oh well, a Morrissey fan must live with heartbreak.
The wooded outdoor surroundings of the newly christened "Bush Trap" must have gotten to poor Mozzer's weak throat.
Shit! Shit! Double shit!
