My friends rather succinct review of the show in NYC…
didn't like the tyde at all. but the singer had on a cool christopher cross tshirt.
loved the pernice brothers. good show.

Pernice Bros. aren't playing here, are they?
I'm still going to give the Tyde a chance; I've heard good things about them from a music critic friend in L.A., and he's usually pretty jaded (but he does like his 60s inspired rock n' roll).

Nope, the Tyde opened a number of shows for the Pernice Bros, but unfortunately not here.

Wow, they're playing with Peter Bruntnell…excellent British alt-country guy who is friends with the Son Volt guys.
Looks like Iota and the Cat are already booked up for that weekend, wonder if the Pernice Brothers will miss DC this time around.

No offense to anyone, but I really dont think Mankie will like the Pernice brothers that much. I bet he would prefer Turin Brakes.
