Great song but am a bit burned out on it….also it’s a song that is better at night

So many great Bowie songs but they always play the same ones
Trader Joe's Glover Park
Bryan Adams "Summer of '69"

I could've done without that actually
8/3 Whole Foods, Basalt, CO
Queen-Radio Gaga
Still kicking myself for not getting any of the wide array of Casey bottles at the only place I'll probably ever see them in a grocery store (though i did get a couple at the brewery)

8/4 Giant (NoVA)
The Church-Under The Milky Way
8/1 Taco Bell, College Park
Ex Hex - Cosmic Cave

Though we may need to have a conversation if you're grocery shopping at a Taco Bell.

pretty sure that's Julian's gig.
HEB South Austin
Wall of Voodoo "Mexican Radio"
Giant, 8/17

Cat Power-Don't know the song, she gobbles the lyrics too much for me to guess and google, but i still like it
Clash-London Calling
Ok, this is one of the most craptastic songs ever recorded but what made this the best song at Giant today, 9/5/19, was seeing a 60+ year old man pushing his cart through the produce aisle, singing every line.

Lovin' Every Minute of It
Loverboy

I'm not man or machine
I'm just something in between
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I'm all love, a dynamo
So push the button and let me go
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
You want me to come alive
Flick the switch into overdrive
You and me can let it be
Ready (ready)
Aim (aim)
Fire
Touch that dial
Turn me on
Start me like a motor, make me run
Lovin' every minute of it (Lovin')
Lovin' every minute of it
Turn that dial all the way
Shoot me like a rocket into space
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
Lovin' every minute of it
C'mon on
I got fun, you want some
I'm ever ready, Dr. Love
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
I'm antenna, aerial
I'm tunin' in, I'm outta control
Whoa, oh, whoa, whoa
You got love, you got a deal
You wanna drive then take the wheel
You and me can let it be
Ready (ready),…

Just like paradise, DLR
Giant, Montrose Crossing
right now
Whole Foods Tenleytown, Seals & Crofts "Summer Breeze"
9/11 Giant

One of my favorite songs from my youth…

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts-I Love Rock and Roll

…………………………………..
They also played Stevie Wonder, but he's always seemed overrated to me. If he were a white guy with 20/20 vision, he'd be about as revered as Anthony Kiedis.

A huge amount of his work would be very suspicious coming from a white guy.
I thought it was going to be a wasted trip to Giant when they started with Pearl Jam and (more) Stevie Wonder.

But then i saw that they were having three day sale on BJ's ($2/pint) and they played:

Cowboy Junkies-A Common Disaster
Starland Vocal Band-Afternoon Delight

Then i went to Whole Foods, where i head

Pretenders-Middle of the Road
Floyd-Another Brick in the Wall

Yes, played right after "I Want Candy" by Bow Wow Wow, which was a close runner-up, and arguable a better grocery store song.
