i think there is a hell of a lot more to pay attention to, because some folks have figured out there is a market for the cray-cray.  once upon a time, basing your radio show on non-stop conspiracy resulted in you broadcasting from your basement to your 3 followers.  nowadays you can found a multi-million-dollar network off of pure whack.  this in turns legitimizes the whack.
