Hoping for more than a festival appearance from the Foos this time around (new album will be great, if the first two released songs are any indication) but a free set wouldn't be too bad.

But REM is playing Coachella, so maybe they would come to freefest.

Can't wait for Freefest! Even though I'm not a huge fan of the bands that played last year, I still had a blast.


I still really regret having to leave before LCD Soundsystem played. Next time I'm not going to let a friends birthday party take priority.  ;D

Any chance of Soundgarden playing FreeFest? I've read they'll do more shows this year, but I don't know what kind they'd be playing.

Queens said they'd be back in the US in July, so I'm really hoping that holds up. I'd much rather see them play a full set at the 9:30.

However, I can easily see them fitting into a FreeFest lineup.

Didnt Dead Milkmen play Sonar last year or the year before?
(2009 at Insubordination Fest)

I vote Aphex Twin, My Bloody Valentine, and DCFC.

While it looks like their latest album won't see the light of day in the US (and thus no US tour), any chance of flying Manic Street Preachers over here for a one-off?
