$3500 100lb Hockney Book, is Julian's America, Yes?
What? No. Owning an original Hockney work is JA. Or better yet, having David Hockney attend a cocktail party on your yacht. Owning a giant book isn’t JA.

It’s like none of you have learned a thing.

BUT IT'S A LIMITED EDITION OF 9000!!!

Do you even hear yourself?

or, it's like we're treating JA like the joke that it is?

Then get the punchline correct, Emo Phillips.
BOOM!

Sorry Sweets. I’m a little on edge. This Gossip Girl reboot where the rich kids are going to “grapple with their privilege” has me seeing attacks from all sides. #NotMyGossipGirl #CancelHBOMax #AsSoonAsInTreatmentEnds #OnlyUntilSuccessionSeason3

here's a little light reading for you, in case your angst needed some feeding:

Superrich Kids Get Trolled
The next-generation Gossip Girl is more diverse, more self-aware, and far more lavishly produced.

"Yet Gossip Girl remains a show about clout-chasers and backstabbers growing up and growing apart, good sex, bad parents, and carrying the right handbag. The point was never who Gossip Girl was. The show is about people who try desperately to be good but are unable to resist their worst inclinations. The point is drama heaped on top of drama, topped off with a few scoops of chaos. It’s not real life; it’s Gossip Girl life. The requirement at the door is that you take to bedlam like a pig in perfumed slop."

at least you'll have the lavish production value going for you…
Fine Art, combining your love for beer and wine, rock music and current events.

"Pours are made by pouring wine or dark beer on #400 watercolor paper, letting the liquid dry, then looking at the dried stain/image to see what shapes appear. Those shapes are defined with markers and colored pencil, using the lines/shapes of the pour. Some of the wine or beer stain is left untouched, other areas are mostly covered, but the integrity of the pour remains.

Sometimes I have no direction for the final outcome and discover as I go along.

So why wine and beer? I love the way the wine and beer move across the textured paper - their color, the way they puddle and leave shimmery sugars behind. I love how wine and beer can bring people together for laughs and conversation. It's an unusual medium, and that's pretty cool in and of itself.  And yes, I like it - but no, I didn't accidentally spill wine and get the inspiration!"

Anyone watching this NHL Draft? 4 of the top 5 players all from U of Michigan and all expected to return for another season. Possibly the greatest amalgam of college hockey talent all time if that plays out (only Kent Johnson is really in play to go).

Wow. Need to see this team in person several times.
Kanye's chicken tenders, are $30. How much, would Julian's chicken tenders be?
Wouldn’t they be fois gras tenders

I think we need a JA ruling on this house in Detroit

This listing just broke me. Wtf.
It's amazing how many 3 bedroom homes come up under $25k in Detroit
Sad
you can't even get a parking space for that in DC
I have seen ads on Baltimore streets advertising homes 2 for $30k

let us hold a moment of silence for the poor real estate agent who had to prep and list this thing.

they really did the best they could with that write-up:
Unique barely begins to describe this one of a kind Grixdale Farms estate. Every aspect of “Lion Gate Estate” has been articulated with painstaking attention to detail and mind blowing decorative flair. Too many custom features to list!  Highlights include heated swimming pool with outdoor shower and cabana.  Custom two car garage with hand painted automotive murals. Partially finished basement with entertainment area.  Fenced in yard with fountains and statuary.  Once in a lifetime offering. Only shown on sunny days.

can you imagine what this monstrosity looks like on a dark, gloomy day?!?
yeah i picked up on the only see on sunny day… i also noted the only decent room in the house was the partially finished basement.,,

i guess the question is do all the statues and furniture convey…  and is it being sold as is due a death in the family

update they have been trying to see the joint since 2018 and it's gone through 3 agents in that time.. it was at once listed at 600K which is what a really nice house in the Grosse Pointes would go for
image #20: the furry slippers match the oversize bed cover… i'm done.
what the heck was going on in that elvis themed basement.  tables seem to be set up for something?

I missed that only shown on sunny days bit…that's great
Good think that listing wasn't in Seattle, you could only show it 10 days a year

HEY TAKE THAT BACK

the second half of june, july, august and september (mostly) are amazing sunny months here.  seriously, PNW summers are unbeatable.  we refuse to travel in the summer because it's so perfect.

the other 8-9 months of the year suck wet soggy ass and make you question your life decisions.
