pretty sure billy (and the other Cameo'ers) don't want to spend hours and hours a day recording low-cost messages.  they're trading quantity for value…. AKA a luxury product.  i'm sure there are plenty of rich 40-somethings that can burn a $250 on having their teenage idol wish them HBD (or have rich friends who can't come up with an original gift…).
