More of a "Maldives Man" myself. If you paid closer attention to JA, you'd know that.

it would be more on brand if he appeared in St. Kits, but the second part tracks

Can confirm. Could slum it there.

the fact that a plebe like hatch doesn't know it's spelled "St. Kitts", with two T's, is expected.

i expect a lot more from you, jules, if only to condescendingly point out that JA'ers never associate with any sort of "kits" - everything is custom.

I can't have the commoners learning of the existence of St. Bespoke. I've probably said too much already.
Does the world really need Hurricane Julian
Heading to Greenland…that is about the most Non-JA place it could land…
Just seems like the wrong latitude for this hidden country of the well heeled

the system’s life as a named storm will be short as forecasters will probably downgrade Julian to a post-tropical storm some time Monday.

My condolences on the downgrade

headlines like this must hurt after making the list of 'named' storms
Forecasters: Tropical Storm Julian no threat to land
man, I didn't think it would be possible to be lamer than Julian, but appears that kate is going to do it, with her mushy and non-threating 39 mph winds

yeah, but it'll piss of a bunch of yachters.

Who is yachting out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean?

only plebes like us ask such questions.

this suits the yachters just fine…
On Brand for a disappointing performance

Short-lived Tropical Storm Julian (since downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone) which formed yesterday has dissipated

at least kate is threating, not like post-tropical Julian (is that like what comes from people influenced by Jimmy Buffet?)

Tropical Storm Kate was downgraded to a tropical depression Tuesday
For now, Kate is expected to remain over open waters of the central North Atlantic and only threaten shipping lanes; no interactions with land are expected over the next five days.

So what meds are advised for tropical depression…seems like margaritas
Update: Kate still a poorly organized depression.

Same, Kate. Same.
I have to drive to Philly and back tomorrow

Not looking forward to it

It’s supposed to rain and flash floods are forecast

If I don’t make it know i left it all here..
Tornado Touches Down In Annapolis; County Under Tornado Warning
Kate no longer has well-defined circulation. This is the final advisory.
