So I saw a weather forecast that said "Showers, becoming more intermittent in the afternoon."

What exactl does that mean? Does it mean showers will become less frequent in the afternoon, or more frequent?

What I never got is, if the Jews control the weather…why oh why do the complain about it soo much.
