Mid-April. Sunny and almost 80 degrees by the middle of the week. Currently 33 degrees, and pouring snow / sleet / ice in the Shenandoah Valley. Some areas already have an inch.

Saw that on the radar last night. It was far weaker than the 2012 DMV one. I don't think it survived going over the Blue Ridge.

They used to just say "flood" but they decided that they needed some precision to distinguish general "creek's gonna rise" (slow) floods from the overloaded storm drain "flash" floods.
