I'm not sure why you would dedicate this to me.  Maybe because I live in Richmond which was the capital of the confederacy?  I see no other reason that you would do so.


I did watch this earlier.  His speech was charged with emotion, touching, and came close to making some valid points made.  At the same time it was full of many holes.  Race relations in this country will always suck as long as there are powerful people who can only keep their power by ensuring that these issues are not resolved.  Those people do everything they can to divide society, disempower the very people they say they are fighting for, and keep those people thinking that they are week powerless victims who have no ability to better themselves.


BTW the guy who did this is a total dirt bag.  Not so much because of the racial issues involved but more so because he committed an act of domestic terrorism and took people's lives.  He is the same as the brothers who committed the Boston marathon bombing.  I hope if and when he is found guilty, they don't waste much time at all strapping him down and giving him the IV.
